Rooted in family legacy and a deep love for the land, Cairns Farm has welcomed families and friends to celebrate life’s most meaningful moments for over a century. Tucked into the glorious Pentland Hills on the outskirts of Edinburgh, the farm comprises an expansive 1000-acre sheep farm which has been lovingly cared for and shaped by four generations of the Hamilton family, plus since 2020 a fabulous exclusive-use converted sheep barn for special events along with a wonderful s onsite accommodation spread across the farm.
Client Objectives:
Assist the family to totally revise the business structure and bring the business back in-house after previously being run by a 3rd party Caterer.
Propose a forward Strategy Plan and Action Plan to drive the business forward.
Select a new panel of caterers
Work with the selected marketing agency (Huckleberry) to carry out a rebrand, create a new website and develop a digital marketing plan.
Create a working Sales and Marketing Plan which the staff onsite could use as a basis for the following year’s activity
Improve the in-house events systems and processes
Assist with the team development
